DAY 1: NJP/BAGDOGRA TO LAMAHATTA    [2 HR 40 MIN (70.6 KM) VIA NH10]

DAY 2: LAMAHATTA SIGHTSEEING TOUR

DAY 3: TRANSFER TO DARJEELING    [23 KM - 1 HRS]

Darjeeling is popular for its huge make larger tea gardens, Darjeeling Himalayan Railway and for the wonderful visions of Mount Kanchenjunga. Placed 20 km apart from Lamahatta, to arrive at Darjeeling, you have to cover 1 hour of driving distance. On arriving, make sure to go into your pre-booked hotel room. In the evening, go for the discovery of the Darjeeling Mall Road. Return back to the hotel to an all night stay at a hotel in Darjeeling.                                                                                                                      

DAY 4: FULL DAY DARJEELING TOUR

Wake up early in the dawn and prepared to discover nearly all of the travelers attractions of Darjeeling. TREKKING IN LAMAHATTA

Option 1 - There is a little nature track that leads to a small lake on a hilltop. The villagers think this to be a holy lake.

Option 2 - You can also do jungle trekking. There is one more track of around 8 kms from Lamahatta to Takdah that goes during a maze of pine and Dhupi trees.

Option 3 - Trek to Takdah Orchid hub (over 5 kms). The Orchid hub is nonetheless open regularly in the season (February through April)

Option 4 - Trek to the Gari Danda, an old fortress on top of a mount which is about 3 kms away
